Hey, I’m Leslie.

Life can leave you feeling exhausted and unsure where to turn. Together we will explore ways to help you feel more balanced, supported , and understood.

My Approach

People seek counselling when life feels overwhelming, uncertain or isolating. You might feel undervalued in relationships, or weighed down by stress and anxiety. Perhaps you’re facing a recent ADHD/ASD diagnosis in yourself or a loved one. Life may have thrown you a big decision, or you’re struggling to balance work, family, or cope with grief. It’s easy to feel exhausted, unsure how to ask for help, or worried about burdening others. These are normal feelings, but when they become part of your daily life, it’s time to reach out for support. Counselling can provide a safe space to find balance and relief.

Do you need a confidential space to talk and be truly heard without judgement? We all want to share our inner world, thoughts and experiences without fearing criticism or judgement-whether it’s about parenting, relationships struggles, work, or lifestyle choice. If this resonates with you, I’m here to listen and help.

I work with individuals who are experiencing anxiety, burnout, stress and life transitions. I have extensive experiencing supporting neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD and Autism, with a respectful understanding of peoples different cognitive and sensory experiences in the world. I walk along side you in your journey to wellness. My work is always trauma informed.

I Primarily work from what’s known as a “talk therapy” approach. That might look like asking questions that will help you gain insight into your struggles, exploring your personal values, and sharing strategies and tools that you can apply right away to help you experience relief from your symptoms. I integrate elements from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive and Behavioural approaches and Emotional Focused Therapy approaches. The therapeutic approaches vary depending on your counselling goals. Some people may use their counselling time to work on a specific goal, while some may value counselling as a time to discuss specific challenges faced between sessions. Counselling can look like many different things for different people; we will determine your goals together.
